infrarad in the time of extinction

In 2002 I decided I wanted to use mathematics and art to save the world. In 2019 I've been put to the test.

I am a GEAS volunteer at superstructgame.org

Superstructing Lesson of the Day

The post title suggests that I’ll be far more regimented about this than is entirely likely. But, keeping my mind on rewards is keeping me focused, so I want to throw out some of my strategizing.

Day 1: Protovation

This is an easy lesson to adhere to on the first day. Everyone ran around poking everything and everyone with a stick. This is right and proper, and at the end of the first 24-hour period, I had wished that lazystruct existed, and within hours, it was built, populated, programmed, designed, and live. Absolutely magical.

Day 2: Multi-Capitalism

Rave and members are capital, but I need to diversify further. I think that missions are capital—-specificity is valuable, ambition is valuable. A good mission should be something you want to run out and do immediately? Or, something that you can’t run out and do immediately? Which is easier to act on: the impossible but highly motivating, or the simple but less inspiring? My money’s on the former.

I want tomorrow to be an influency day. May technical difficulties be cast out of this home.
